Current Art Fund Supports 1328 Bruce Street

Wow. I’m happy to share that I’ve been awarded a 2026 Current Art Fund grant. It will support 1328 Bruce Street, a sculpture project at my grandparents’ former home. The house is in Memphis’s historic Orange Mound neighborhood.

I plan to develop three outdoor sculptures using wood and concrete with steel armatures. The project draws on my family’s history and the architecture of the house, built in 1932. This funding will help me move from sketches and small studies to building the sculptures.
